Switching from Signavio, faster than expected
Processes sat isolated in Signavio. The goal: an integrated process hub, without a drawn-out migration project.
Starting point
The processes were stuck in an established but isolated tool (Signavio). They were to be moved into an integrated process hub, without it turning into a months-long migration project.
The doubt is always the same with a switch like this: does everything arrive intact? And how long does process work stand still while the migration runs?
Approach
The switch was carried out with AI support within a few weeks. The existing content was carried over, reviewed and brought into a coherent structure: the existing process understanding was taken along rather than gathered again.
Outcome
The import was complete in content, and noticeably faster to carry out than expected. Scattered diagrams became an integrated home for the processes. windpunx later presented the switch on stage at the PzM Summit themselves: technically and operationally.
