Switching from Signavio — faster than expected

Starting point

The processes were stuck in an established but isolated tool (Signavio). They were to be moved into an integrated process hub — without it turning into a months-long migration project.

The doubt is always the same with a switch like this: does everything arrive intact? And how long does process work stand still while the migration runs?

Approach

The switch was carried out with AI support within a few weeks. The existing content was carried over, reviewed and brought into a coherent structure: the existing process understanding was taken along rather than gathered again.

Outcome

The import was complete in content — and noticeably faster to carry out than expected. Scattered diagrams became an integrated home for the processes. windpunx later presented the switch on stage at the PzM Summit themselves: technically and operationally.
